Billboard Latin Music Awards 2022: Date, time, place and where to watch live!

The most prestigious night in Latin music is coming. The highly anticipated Billboard Latin Music Awards 2022 will be hosted by international stars Jaime Camil and Kate del Castillo who will be in charge of presenting the coveted star-studded event, featuring electrifying performances and musical collaborations from the most relevant artists of the moment. The big night will kick off with the red carpet special, followed by the ceremony, where the Billboard Legend Award will be presented for the first time to Jose Feliciano. In addition, the Billboard Icon Award will be presented to Chayanne, the Billboard Spirit of Hope Award to Christina Aguilera, the Billboard Hall of Fame Award to Nicky Jam and the Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award to Raphael.

Where to watch the show:

“La Alfombra de Premios Billboard” will be hosted by Alix Aspe, Carlos Adyan, Giselle Blondet, Jessica Carrillo and Rodner Figueroa and will air LIVE on Telemundo.

The prestigious “Billboard Latin Music Awards” ceremony will air LIVE on Telemundo.

Both specials will also be simulcast on the Hispanic entertainment cable channel, Universo, the Peacock streaming service, the Telemundo app, and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean on Telemundo Internacional.

Musical performances:

The “Premios Billboard de la Música Latina” 2022 stage will shine with Latin music stars presenting big surprises, world premieres and impactful collaborations, in the following 17 musical performances:

Calibre 50 will present their fusion of urban and regional Mexican with the premiere of the TV version of “El Mexicano es ca….”.

Camilo will unveil for the first time the theme song that Telemundo will use in its World Cup coverage with his performance of an exclusive version of “Aeropuerto”.

Christina Aguilera will perform her response to Jose Alfredo Jimenez’s classic “El Rey” with her powerful ranchera “La Reina”.

Elvis Crespo will pay tribute to his hit song “Suavemente” which includes his merengue version of “La neverita”.

Farruko will perform the world premiere of the remix of his smash hit “Nazareno”, and will also present a preview of his next single “Viaje”.

Grupo Firme will perform the hit song “Ya supérame” and then join Camilo to present their first collaboration, “Alaska”.
With Mexican and Colombian flavor, Los Ángeles Azules and Carlos Vives join forces to perform the television premiere of “Cumbia del corazón”.
Maluma will surprise all fans with the world premiere of his new song “Junio”, which will debut with his live performance during the awards show and will only be available on platforms after his participation in the show.

Manuel Turizo will sing his summer smash hit “La bachata,” which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Tropical Airplay chart.
Nicky Jam will sing the TV premiere of his hit “Sin novia”.
With great rhythm and energy, Ozuna will perform the TV premiere of his new single “La copa”.
Piso 21 and Manuel Turizo will perform the TV premiere of “Los cachos”.

In a tribute to Raphael’s great career, the Spanish star will be joined by Pablo Lopez and CNCO to perform a medley of his greatest hits, including “Mi gran noche”, “Estar enamorado”, “Como yo te amo”, “Que sabe nadie”, and “Escándalo”. In addition, the Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award winner will surprise everyone with the world premiere of his song “De tanta gente”.
Tini will perform her hit ballad “Carne y hueso” for the first time on U.S. television.
